A standing deer in matte stoneware, ecru and sand, with the surface texture that stoneware gives you and glazed ceramic does not - it catches light softly instead of shining.

At nine inches it is the taller of the pair. Put it with the lying 4.5 by 6 version and you get height difference and posture difference in one small grouping.
