Description

Smoky bacon, creamy potatoes, and tender leek in one bag. Ed's Soup Shack is a small family business out of the Cowichan Valley — no added salt, sugar, or MSG.

Just add bacon or ham, a splash of white wine (optional), and a touch of cream or milk. Makes 8–10 generous servings.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

Chop bacon or ham and fry until crisp.
Bring 8 cups of water to boil in a large pot.
Add bacon/ham, Soup Mix, and optional white wine. Simmer 45 min until vegetables are tender.
Remove from heat; remove bay leaves, add cream or milk.
Garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley. Makes 8–10 servings.
